About BheBhe
Born in Zimbabwe and raised in London, Bhebhe gathers his influences from the roots of jazz and funk records. His passion for music started when he was a kid when listening to Michael Jackson.
One of the elements that really stuck out to him was Michael's ability to trace over a beat using percussive vocals. Bhebhe found his sanctuary in Hip Hop because of its heritage and message. As a rapper, his style is dynamic.
He interacts with his audience like it's an extension of his music. His live performances are progressively becoming more of a symbol of his love to entertain. Despite only creating music in the past couple of years, he has already made an impact on his local music scene in Ipswich.
His mission is to make music that reflects his background, culture and history. Now its 2016, he is gathering up a live band, working closely with emerging beatmakers and producers and beginning to glue together the pieces of his next embodiment of work.
Bhebhe has proven in the short time he has been living in Ipswich that he is dedicated and committed to his role as an artist. His mission is to integrate the vibrant soundscape of Africa into the contemporary architecture of dance music. His work so far has given us a flavour as what is to offer and if you continue to follow his development, you will be treated to a whole lot more!
